I have been living in Brazil for the last 10 years where I set up and ran my own backpackers hostel. Having recently sold the business I have left Brazil to keep travelling the world looking for new adventures!!

Before that I worked as a tour leader for an adventure travel company where I ran overland trips in Asia and South America.

Before that I worked in an office in Liverpool as a fund manager for a private client investment management company.

Couchsurfing is an excellent way for travellers to meet local people. As a solo traveller it is a very convenient and inexpensive way of getting to know people, their local customs and their city!!

As much as I like to get to know new places around the world I love to pass on information and tips about the amazing places I have already visited.
