Hi, I'm George, I'm an active person who loves to explore life. I love little adventures, to live in the moment, spontaneous plans and authenticity. I studied quite a few years, but after working in an office for a year I knew this was not for me. I swapped office life for a job as a physics teacher. I'm enjoying this active job where everyday is a little surprise. In my free time I like to do sports, be outside, listen to music and spend time with friends or myself :) Currently I'm climbing a lot (mostly bouldering) but I like pretty much every sport; sailing, swimming, running, cycling, hiking, canoeing, gymnastics, etc... Next to my job as a teacher I give training to kids at my local bouldering gym together with some awesome colleagues. My dog Knoet joins me on a lot of adventures as well, however I will have to miss him during my travels.

Current mission: explore all dimensions of life, soak in every experience and be loving to myself and my environment.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been lucky to get a taste for the free travelling life on previous experiences; I've walked in remote locations, slept in the wild, hitchhiked, work-a-wayed and met a lot of kind people along the way. It has given me a broader view of what life can look like and has increased my trust in life tremendously. With couchsurfing I would like to continue along this path and exchange views and lifestyles with locals. I love to go beyond the hotspots and connect with locals :)
