Just changed careers (music to language teaching), very busy!! I've travelled the world (not couchsurfing!) and now stick closer to home. If anyone wants to practice their French or English, I'm your man. Or talk about Classical music.
As a freelance teacher, I sometimes get gigs in Toronto which require a stay of 1-4 nights, so staying with my current friends is always possible, but I love to meet new people of all ages. My wife and kids will confirm all of the above on Facebook!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

A few weeks ago before the first frost I noticed a huge apple tree on public land near my place in Burlington. My brother, wife and I picked about 100 kilos of apples (I think they're Gala) and made enough fresh cider for everyone for awhile.

I come from a family of teachers: my mother, my siblings, most of my numerous cousins - all teachers. It must be genetic. I started teaching violin when I was 14.
I've travelled quite a bit, so trading travel stories is always good.
