About Me

Hi! I’m George, 42 years old, based in Romania. By profession, I work in a technical field — I enjoy solving complex problems and finding smart solutions. My job keeps me grounded in logic and structure, but outside of work, I love letting curiosity lead the way.
City breaks are my favorite way to recharge + Reading (when the time allows it). I enjoy discovering new places, engaging with different cultures, and having real conversations. I'm easygoing, respectful, and love a good mix of deep discussions and lighthearted fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new to the Couchsurfing community, but it’s something I’ve wanted to be part of, for the past year. I’ve always appreciated how travel becomes more meaningful when it’s shared with locals who truly know the heart of a place.
Now, in 2025, I’m finally making time to explore the world more intentionally. I’m hoping that this summer and autumn will be full of weekends spent discovering both iconic cities and hidden gems — ideally alongside locals who love to share their stories (and maybe a home-cooked meal or a favorite bar!). Couchsurfing feels like the perfect platform for that .

Two and a half man, Game of Thrones, Dune, Vikings, Rome, Marco Polo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the Pyramids of Giza — and yes, they’re just as mind-blowing in real life as in every documentary ever made. I started the day thinking I’d channel my inner Indiana Jones... and ended up under the Egyptian sun.
I rode a camel, tried to bargain for a bottle of water ... and in the end, standing in front of those ancient stones, realizing they’ve been there for thousands of years, made me feel both tiny and totally alive.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good energy, real conversations, and maybe a few laughs!
I love exchanging stories — whether it’s about cultural quirks, tech trends, travel fails, or just how people make coffee in different corners of the world. I’m curious by nature and always happy to listen, learn, and share.
I try to live a balanced life, so I’m into healthy habits like morning walks, mindful eating, and a decent sleep schedule — although I’ll gladly break it for a midnight chat or spontaneous adventure.
