Hey! I'm George — originally from the UK, currently traveling through Nicaragua. I’m an architect and carpenter , with a big love for thoughtful design, woodwork, and anything hands-on and creative.

My days usually start with meditation and a cup of matcha, and I’m happiest when I’m close to nature—surfing, hiking, cycling, or just getting lost somewhere scenic. I also love yoga, reading, photography, disc golf, and cooking meals with friends. I’m always curious to learn how people live, think, eat, and build things—especially in places I’ve never been.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new to Couchsurfing (only tried it once so far!), but I’m really drawn to it as a way to connect more deeply with local culture, meet kind people, and experience a place through genuine human exchange—not just through tourist attractions.
