I am currently cycling around France, meandering my way to Barcelona, where I will be starting a new job in July. I have a degree in philosophy and politics, but these days work (mostly!) as an English teacher.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surfing but have lived in many shared apartments in various countries and have always enjoyed welcoming visitors and meeting new people, and now that I am on the road again I'd love to meet new people through the CC community and perhaps occasionally rest my tired legs on a sofa or two after long days on my bike along way.
I also use Warm Showers, a similar hospitality exchange website designed especially for touring cyclists.

Interests

Well my current interest seems to be cycling! But this is actually very new for me (i'm not an exercise freak, don't worry, i won't fill your kitchen with protein drinks!) - I just thought it would be an interesting way to travel to Spain, particularly as I had a few weeks to spare in between jobs (I recently returned from working as an English teacher in Brazil and will work as one again on summer camps this year in Spain).
Other main interests are cooking (and eating, naturally), travelling and meeting new people whilst trying lots of new foods :)
