ABOUT ME
A friend once said "George, I do not believe anything you say but, I trust you". My eyes welled up a bit. But I think he got it right.
PHILOSOPHY
Philosophies are for people trying to sell stuff
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly I try to avoid couchsurfing.org, I believe in doing it like normal people used to do, you meet someone from out of town at a bar or cafe, ask them if they have somewhere to stay or if they want to go see something around town, them help them out. I make friends like this who I then stay with when I travel overseas. When I travel, the friends I have made around the world dictate where I go, but if I really want to go somewhere and I don't know anyone, couchsurfing.org gets used.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Following on from above mostly it has been people staying with me in New Zealand, whether they are members of couchsurfing.org or not.
Interests
Since I was a kid and my parents would bring home random Germans and Americanos to stay at our place I was fascinated with people from different countries, the funny way they said things, the way they lived, all the different things they did. Now im older I understand we are all the same but these little differences we have are still awesome.
