READ THIS BEFORE CONTACTING ME!!!

I don't live in the city of Thessaloniki, I live in Chortiatis, a medium sized village near Thessaloniki (it's an 1 hour trip by public bus from Thessaloniki to Chortiatis).

I am Giorgos (George in English), an easy and international name, especially if you are passionate with travelling and meeting new people and cultures, as I try to. Planning my next trip is a vital part of my routine. I live in Chortiatis, a medium sized village on the foot of a mountain, a few klms north of Thessaloniki. I studied Psychology, so I am kind of a psychologist. Over the last few years I have been involved in the humanitarian sector, especially working with refugees. I am also part of a youth team called Youthorama, which aims to promote equality, democracy, freedom, cooperation, justice and such values, especially by participating in European programmes like Erasmus+. Besides my passion for travelling , I like listening to good music (actually i listen to music many hours a day), running and playing football and watching movies and series. Lately I have also developed a passion for photography.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I hadn't travelled abroad since i was 22 years old, but my first trip changed my way of thinking about the world, so after this I wanted to travel more and more. I think Couchsurfing is a very nice way to meet people from other countries and learn about their cultures, their everyday lifes and start breaking stereotypes.
Couchsurfing is also a cheap way of travelling for low budget travellers, so why not help someone fulfill their trip?
