About Me

ABOUT ME

Heya, I’m currently a web developer in London, UK. I take weekends away when I can. I used to be freelance which was awesome for longer trips away, but now in the ‘real world’ I take what my holiday days allow.
My friends would probably describe me as motivated and ambitious.

PHILOSOPHY

I have many, but the predominant one is 'Work hard, Play Hard'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Got a hitch, they said it would probably be cool to stay with the people they were staying with. They checked, the next night went over and had an extraordinary time, so I felt I had to get on CS.

Interests

My regular hobbies are Scouting (I'm a Sea Scout Leader), Kayaking, Cycling, Running, Web designer (I run and own a small web design business). My irregular hobbies are Sailing, Power Kiting, Surfing, Skiing, Mountain Walking/Mountaineering, Traveling, Climbing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are many moments which have left me awestruck. To pick a few; At the summit of Mont Blanc, 4810m, the feeling of achievement was amazing and the views were sensational. Milford Sound, New Zealand, simply stunning. The Elaphanta caves in Mumbai, Delhi, a place of such tranquility.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a random selection of skills, from cycle mechanics/maintenance to web design to knot tying. I am always up for bettering myself by hearing about other peoples way of life and learning new skills.
