I grew up in a suburb of Detroit: Northville, Michigan. I graduated from Kalamazoo College in Michigan (I studied psychology and neuroscience) and I just spent the last year in a Master's program studying Psychology, also in Michigan. In my free time I play piano (I do improvisational piano) and I also love spending time going on long walks through the city or visiting unique historical places around the world. I am really fond of places that have religious or spiritual significance (which is why I am planning to visit the Egyptian Pyramids!).

I am planning to take the next year off to travel around Europe and possibly the Middle East. I plan to visit a friend in Budapest in January, and in February I am planning to spend a few weeks around Zurich, Switzerland to visit the Carl Jung Institute in Kusnacht. I am hoping to find some hosts that are near that area or in Zurich so I would be close to the school. I will be spending a good amount of time at the school, and will also be doing some studying/reading/reasearch during my travels as well.

There's no better way to get to know a new city than getting to know the locals! I love meeting new people and sharing the experience of traveling with my hosts.

I am primary looking for a place to stay in Budapest and especially in Zurich. I would love a place that wouldn't mind if I did some of my own studying and reading in my free time, although I would love to go out with you and your friends as well if you have time!

I like exploring, reading, and I'm pretty into meditation. In school I studied cognitive science and psychology. I also love cooking, so if you host me, I will probably show my appreciation by making some amazing meals for you and anyone else who would like to join! :)

Lilly, Franklin Merrel-Wolff, and more. Favorite Movies: The Tree of Life, Titanic, The Help, Harry Potter, and The Little Prince.

I once did a 5-day hike on my own in the Tatras, south of Zakopane, Poland, during which I climbed one of the highest mountain peaks in the dark (unintentionally) and I also met some peaceful bears!

I'm really into Carl Jung, mediation, lucid dreaming, and exploring the mind through introspection and light trance. At school I lead a meditation class, and I'm pretty good at helping people to find that inner part of themselves. I love exchanging knowledge about this stuff, and I'd be happy to help you meditation or anything along those lines if you would like!
