I am a 33 year old man from Washington DC, USA. I have traveled to 14 countries and am hoping to double that count soon. I work as an economist.

I am easy going and like to wander and explore. I am always happy to meet new people and share experiences and stories. I believe that interacting with others in places far away from home is the best way to learn about yourself and the world.

I love to travel and meet new people. Recently, I have begun traveling solo. I like it a lot more than I thought I would, but I realized on my last trip that I would love to meet local people and learn about their city from them rather than just wander alone. Spending time with a few people from Barcelona on my last trip has left me wanting this much more and I believe that Couchsurfing is the right way to go.

I am up for anything and everything from hikes, to beaches, to museums, to restaurants and cooking classes, to bars, live music, and dancing. I travel to explore and hopefully find experiences that I never even knew existed. I especially love walking cities and looking at the architecture.

I am hoping to couchsurf with someone who will tell me about their city and guide a traveler like myself. Even better if you would like to spend a day exploring with me.
