Giorgos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1993. He was raised in famous Katerini, which he is sure that you have never heard of. When he was little, he was fascinated by the stars and the economics, due to his father influence. While he was growing, he thought that the stars where too far away and the greek economic crisis was all around him. This lead him to study Accounting & Finance in University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, which has regretted many times since. In order to fill his inner gap, he was actively involved in various environmental and social movements and NGOs. Meanwhile, he started traveling for studies, work and conferences about Culture of Peace, Social Solidarity Economy and Degrowth. After many crossroads, he found himself back at Thessaloniki, where he studies about and works about and in initiatives of Social Solidarity Economy.

In his spare time, he is a culture junkie (books, tv series, movies, music) or he is cooking with and for his friends.
