Having a bit of a wander around New Zealand - very easy going, friendly and respectful.
It's my fifth visit but there's always more to see.
Most of my family live in Auckland so I use them as a base - came over from the UK after finishing sailing down in the Med.

Staying with locals is hopefully the way forward - I never expect too much but as hosts are on couch surfing I would think they'd all be like minded people who would welcome guests with open arms and be very hospitable!

Maybe even show you around and have a couple beers and a BBQ !

Sailing has been work for the last couple years.
Quite an avid windsurfer and surf any time I have the chance.
Tv has never been on my list of things to do - got keep active and get out and about.
