About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make friends over 200 coffees before I graduate

ABOUT ME

I'm super outgoing, adventurous, and friendly. I love meeting people different than myself and see the world from different perspectives.

PHILOSOPHY

Just do it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed in a few cities during my trip in Europe. I also hosted a few international travellers in my house in Toronto.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first joined CouchSurfing in October 2011 for my weekend 4-day bike trip through the Swiss Alps.

Interests

I frequency get involved in team sports like basketball and rowing.
In the winter, I go snowboarding.
I love making friends and meeting new people, as well as experiencing different cultures around the world.
Professionally, I'm building a career in the design / innovation space. I hope to work in an innovation consultancy where I can spend everyday helping entrepreneurs and established corporations make the world a better place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a ton of non-fiction personal development, design, and business books. My favourite books include:

The Power of Now, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Personal Development for Smart People, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, The Innovator’s Dilemma/Solution, Tilt, Blue Ocean Strategy, Unconscious Branding, Start with Why, Creative Confidence, Designing for Growth, The Power of Habit, Running Lean, The Human Factor, Never Eat Alone

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've camped on a beach in Alaska, USA in September 2008, followed by a boat-tour around Glacier Bay, where I saw lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery.

I've biked for four days straight to visit the Swiss Alps in Interlaken from Zurich, passing by major cities of Bern and Lucerne.
