My name is georgia, I moved to ikaria with my family in November 2013. We wanted to have a simple lifestyle (leaving the life of the U.K. Behind us) and this led to a life of travelling and self healing.
Living on a Greek Island means that I have had the chance to meet people from all over the world and also have got to know about couch surfing.

In the winters I have travelled and lived in other countries and in the summer I now run a small business giving Thai massage to tourists and locals.

I was born in the Netherlands, brought up in England and now living in ikaria (Greece). My father is half Italian and Dutch so I am a mixture of nationalities and am very comfortable with people from all sorts of back grounds. I'd be more than happy to show people around ikaria and give them the info they need to know. In fact we have a shop selling natural products from the island and we give tourist information in the summer. So we want to welcome you!

Travelled to Thailand alone at the age of 18 to take part in Thai massage course: now I have a summer business.

Moved to an isolated Greek island at the age of 17 and experienced a huge self realisation.

I took a passion for yoga after being in Thailand, I have managed to teach hatha yoga in Greece which has been a great experience. I am very much in love with the system of Ayurveda and would love to share knowledge and ideas with other people as life is really about learning, change and development.
