Hi there! My name is Georgie, i'm 24, taking a year to travel ahead of undertaking my PhD in Dublin. I'm from a Scottish & South African background but grew up in England. I am travelling through the USA, Japan, Australia, Indonesia and potentially South Africa in order to interview people for my podcast, /Queer! This podcast is dedicated to providing a platform for marginal gender and sexuality groups, as well as shedding light on the history of 'queer' culture from a transnational perspective.

All I really want is a place to rest my head whilst I go on a wee adventure! Of course, if you want to get involved in the podcast in any way I would LOVE some help. This is a community-based project so the more the merrier, especially if you feel you have a story to share :)

I have a variety of practical skills (sewing, cooking, cutting hair) and would be more than happy to share these in any way I can, but I am also an expert in the field of non-cisgender identities from a transnational, interdisciplinary perspective (you can check out my writing at slashqueer.com).
