ABOUT ME

I'm a student living in Germany and study in The Netherlands, right on the border. My dad's english, my mum german and I've got two younger sisters. I enjoy travelling a lot and love to meet new people and get to know their culture! I am a friendly, open minded girl. After I finished school I've been travelling around australia and bali for a period of 12 months. I share a flat with two great friends of mine and enjoy students life :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is a great way to get to know new people or visit a city not like every other tourist but by using some insider tipps - I love this way of travelling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've been couchsurfing in Perth (Australia), Frankfurt and Leipzig (Germany). All three times I enjoyed staying with people I just met and get to know their way of life. Once I slept in the linvingroom, in the girls bedroom and another time we had our own room. So I'm not complicated when it comes to sleeping at someone else's. :)

Interests

I love to go out with friends but at the same time I enjoy spending time at home and just hang out with family or friends. I'm not the best at cooking but every now and then I still give it a try. In summer I love having a barbecue and to have a good cold german beer with it. And of course, as a typical girl I'm interested in fashion ;) This year I've been to a couple of festivals around Germany and The Netherlands. Normally I prefer listening to hiphop music but at the festivals they were only playing house. SO I don't mind listening to any type of music.

For going out I prefer hiphop and dancehall but at the same time I don't mind listening to any type of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The time I spent travelling around australia and bali with one of my best friends was the best time of my life - so far. We were working on farms, picking tomatoes and potatoes. Diving with dolphins and tortoises was a lot of fun, too. Camping on an island, right on the beach and being on a roadtrip with 3 other students was awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you some German, although I don't think anyone would like to learn the language - I know it's not the nicest one ;) or maybe some drinking games..? :)
