About me...well,I am an artist,sculptor, I like reading and walking when im not doing sculpture,besides that I have a keen interest in organic gardening and urban gardening,have spent a lot of time woofing .
I dont drink alchohol or use tobacco,I am vegan,practice meditation but do not have any religion.
I live in Aarhus ,Denmark where i share a flat with two students,girls,in a peacefull area ,close to the university.
Nature is where I like to be or in museums,art galleries,theatre.I dont party.
We keep it clean and neat and tidy,the girls are studying hard and i work all day when im home in Aarhus.
I use most of my time doing sculpture,I have an arrangement with the local municipalty to carve trees which would otherwise need to be felled due to damage or disease,I can spend hours and hours on that,it is calming,meditative work.It is usually in nature,often close to water,so fresh,clean air and the wonderful smell of freshly cut wood.Being close to nature naturally draws me close to gardening,I work on urban garden projects and wwoof in order to learn more about organic and bio dynamic methods.I can recommend it,you meet the most interesting people,food is always good and never,ever bored. :-)
In the town of Aarhus where I live,when Im at home, a lot of time,money and energy is being spent on converting the city/town into a greener place,very interesting initiatives arise and we feel we are flowing gently towards a better,more human and natural,future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of couchsurfing,i like meeting new people and also I like the idea that it should not cost a fortune to have a good nights sleep.
You never know when or where you might meet a friend,we all search for the same thing,happiness,contentment,peace,in various ways.The enormous lack of social interraction in our society is leading to a plethora of mental ilnesses,all social life now has to be paid for and is a poor substitute for the simple pleasure of being together.Making music together,chatting,singing going for walks and looking out for each other.
We use so much energy trying to ensure our own happiness,what would happen if we instead used that energy to ensure the happiness of others ?
