Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing seems a viable way (per the recommendations of some of the Germans I have met) to meet an interesting individual in the city I'm travel to, pay it forward when I'm at home, and avoid the hassles/hullabaloo of a hostel/hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I run a non-profit in the United States, Students for Opioid Solutions. In 2015, I meet President Obama with a student program, USSYP, of whom I now sit on the alumni board.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English dialects (can speak several), basic scout/pathfinder skills
Learn: Languages (basic phrases) that are not English/Deutsch.
Share: Intercultural mannerisms

What I Can Share with Hosts

A decent English conversation or a rough German conversation. Recipes from home (midwestern cuisine) or a drink or two.
