Hi everyone!
My name is Géraldine and I am a French student, learning International politics. I am currently living in Seoul (from September 2018 to the end of December 2018), where I study Korean language.
I have grown up in the South of France, in a small and lovely city named Albi (make a stop here if you can, it's worth it!) where my family still lived while I have moved to Bordeaux a few years ago for my study.

I really love travelling, discovering new things, reading, watching movies and also doing some sports (especially swimming and biking!).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because I think it's an amazing way to discover the actual culture -understood as the way of life - of a country.
Moreover, I am sure that all my couchsurfing will be amazing experiences of cultural exchange in which I hope I will be able to give as much as I would receive!

兴趣

When I'm travelling, I am mostly interesting in exploring cities as well as natural sites and learning new things in all fields (history, art...).
Otherwise, in France I really like to go to the cinema with some friends, cooking (especially bakeries, I am not French for nothing!), reading and exercize!

I really love going to the movies, and I enjoy as much "classical" films (Casablanca, Apocalypse now, West Side Story) as old blockbusters (Star Wars, Back to the Future) or more recent productions (Lalaland, Three Billboards, Okja, Call me by your name)...
My tastes in music are also eclectic, ranging from rock n' roll (ACDC, Led Zeppelin, The rolling stones) to classical music (I have been playing violin for 7 years), through jazz..
I also enjoy a lot reading and my two favourites authors are Victor Hugo and Alexandre Dumas.

Going one year to Taiwan, on the opposite side of the world and far from everything I have ever known, while I was 19 years old!
