Hi everyone! I am Gerard Alsina from Barcelona. I was born in 1994 in Barcelona city and also raised here. I took up studies as a mechanical engineering and finished my degree recently. This last year I have been moving around Catalonia looking for a qualified job and a place to live (outside Barcelona). Now I decided to make big steps and travel to Australia for a while in order to discover the world and achieve new goals. My idea is to stay al least a year in the country since the 16th of September. As I don't have any job or place to live at the moment, I though it would be a good idea to find a temporary place to stay. Moreover that new company could help me to find a job and a place to live.

I consider myself as an easy-going dude ready to share any aspect in culture, travelling, knowledge, etc. I am responsible, self-sustaining person with energy and enthusiasm to build my own enviroment in life. Ready to fail and continue fighting. My goal is doing the things I feel I need to do.

Back in my city, Barcelona, I've been knowing and living with foreign people during this last year, sharing different aspects of the life with flatmates. We arranged a music band with other friends (I play the bass and the guitar) of ska, reggae and punk-rock. We also loved playing rumba (i hope to carry that skills with me in Australia) I also had interest in learning different languages and discovering the north-african culture (travelling to morocco twice on my own) so I arranged people in online language platforms in order to exchange my spanish to arabic (with sirians, morocans, etc)
