About Me

Hello world travelers! My name is Gerardo, but my friends call me Yisus, and my passion is living in harmony with nature. I relocated to the magnificent mountains of El Salvador along with my best friend Martin to pursue a self-sufficient, tranquil lifestyle.

We spend our days practicing yoga, primal movement, and meditation. We take inspiration from our surroundings and flow intuitively similar to the wildlife we live amongst. We grow and forage most of our organic, plant-based food on our small permaculture homestead. In my spare time I enjoy making music with my guitar, hiking to breathtaking overlooks, and mountain biking on thrilling trails through the jungle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would be honored to host you on my humble property and give you a glimpse into my peaceful existence. I can teach you about organic farming, foraging wild edibles, preparing plant-based cuisine from scratch, and getting centered through practices like yoga. I’d also be happy to guide you on life-changing excursions into the fabulous rugged wilderness that engulfs my home.

I highly value cultural exchange through authentic local experiences. I’d love to host fellow adventurers and conscious souls. Please don’t hesitate to contact me and I look forward to crossing paths!
