I love the language of Marguerite Duras, and Torgny Lindgren, Selma Lagerlöf, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Agaat by Marlene van Niekerk is fantastic, and I really liked All the Light We Cannot See, from Anthony Doerr.

I listen and dance mostly to Swedish and Norwegian folk tunes, but this English instrumental and vocal group is a new good friend: Lady Maisery.

Polyphonic old vocal songs are also a real treat.
