My name is Gereon
(I will teach you how to pronounce it) or you can call me Gerry.

Recently left Germany and moved to Cyrpus.
Currently living in Larnaca.

Together with my brother we have a gardening and landscaping company in Germany and I own a digital marketing agency in the UAE so if you have experience in that field happy to meet as well.

I traveled extensively in the past and also lived abroad in various countries , so I can manage on my own as well and I am more looking to meet people and soak up the culture of the country rather than getting travel advices.

Happy to meet travelers, locals and expats in Cyrpus or around the world.

What particularly interests me are any cultural events or traditions or customs that I may be a part of but I am also happy to just sit somewhere and drink a coffee or tea and talk about life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For me its an opportunity to crash into the life of people for a few days. Experience there daily life, culture and traditions.
Normally you need to be friends for some time to get invite to stay at there house and my experience is, that you have this kinda welcoming and familiar feeling so soon when you stay with someone from Couchsurfing and it often felt so quick like home or meeting and old friend.
It also keeps traveling way more interesting for me and I learned a lot of things I would never know without this great people.

兴趣

My interests are any kind of sport (preferably MMA, but the rest is fine too) outdoor stuff(mainly hiking) culture, traditions, art, food and, music.
In general I like a good mixture of everything.

I started Scuba diving recently and I will definitely do a lot more.

On top of that I like to learn about religions, businesses (especially start ups), new technologies, politics, alternative lifestyles.

I am not into shopping in big malls and I prefer to use less not necessary things.

Music : Hip Hop, Rap, House, electro, club, Latin or what ever sounds good and I will just download it on Spotify.

Kinda got a fable for Podcasts recently ranging from finance over to women rights, politics, medicine or whatever sounds tempting.

Managed to get off the beaten track in Thailand (its hard but possible)
Hari Raya celebration in Malaysia (managed to eat for 5 days all day...)
