About Me

A bulgarian girl who is trying to find her calling in life, currently have picked up travelling as such a mean of self discovery. Very passionate about being the change and inspiring others to do so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My major reason to pick up travelling is definitely the people you get to meet. No matter what the location, I will always be mostly interested in interacting with the people and learning about the different cultures, their personal life stories and struggles, the differences but also the similarities between their country and mine. Hence, staying at a local sounds like the perfect opportunity to explore their homeland's peculiarities, to exchange recipies and cook up delicious dishes (since I'm a foodie), sing and dance, enjoy our time together and become friends!

P.S. I'm a history nerd, if you happen to be interested!

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite book of all time - "Man in Search of Meaning" by Victor Frankl. This is my personal so-called "Bible" as it has helped me get through tough times in life. Frankl himself was a jew who got to be send to a concentration camp, in his work he presents his views on how we can manage to get through even the worst possible circumstances and how powerful our mind is.

As for movies at number one place proudly sits "Pursuit of Happyness" with Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith. Based on a true life story, the plot is inspirational especially for those who want to achieve a great goal in their life.

My music taste is all over the place, from rock to our bulgarian folklore music (which btw has a grammy award!). I find myself often jamming to The Black Keys, Tame Impala and The Kooks.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to write your name in Cyrillic :D Can share tasty Balkan recipies, our cuisine is heavily influenced my the Middle Eastern one, so you know you're in for a treat. I'm more than willing to learn about your country's background, history, music, language and anything you feel like sharing!
