ABOUT ME
My name is Gerjanne... Since that's quite unpronounceable in most parts of the world, I got used to lots of creative alternatives to it.
I was born in a small town in the Eastern part of Holland and have always been curious about other countries, cultures and languages. I took all the possible changes to see more of the world: an exchange year in Uruguay, travelling through most Latin American countries, working in Spain, doing research in Central America, and taking study trips to various places.

After studying Cultural Anthropology and International Development, I've moved to the Caribbean island of Bonaire. Here I work on various projects. I do consultancy work for the government and other organisation concerning communication, society and sustainability, I coach youngsters, teach yoga and Pilates, organise yoga retreats and help people to learn new languages.

Both surfing couches and hosting travellers. Had great experiences for which I am very thankful, trying to pass the favor to people who need a place to stay.
