My name is Gerke, I am 21 years old an from Bremen - a small but lovely city in the north of Germany.
I finished University in 2016 and I am traveling currently through Latin America for a few months. I am outgoing, easy to handle and keen to try out new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is important to me to not only visit countries and say "I am a globetrotter - check out my instagram" - by hanging out with locals it is possible to get to know to the culture way better and right now it helps as well to improve my Spanish skills.

Interests

I try to challenge myself as often as I can - it does not matter if it is with sport, an intelectual discussion/topic or just a new surrounding where I first have to acclimate myself. The main premise is to get out of my comfort zone and learn from risks/experiences of others!

Honestly, my favorite music depends extremely on my daily mood. You can catch me with Hip Hop, Jazz, Swing (electro), Rap, Classic (I also danced standard for over 4 years) and sometimes even Charts. So my taste in music can be defined as "all over the place".

Movies and Books - trust me, the space would not be enough to list them all.
I especially try to read as much as I can and consequently I am sure there will be enough basis for a discussion about any movie/book you want.
