Hi!

My name is Germel Andrew Ford (but everyone calls me Melo). I'm 26 and from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States. I'm a passionate person who in September set out on a journey to see the world or as much of it as possible. My journey started in South America and as of January 22nd I will be in Germany with plans to make my way throughout Europe. Like everyone else, I've been had a lifetime full of lessons and experiences, thought long and hard about my purpose and what I can pour my heart into to make the experience of life better for those around me and those I can reach through numerous platforms, and completely willing to get lost in each day leading up to whatever is meant for me. I believe we all share many things in common and what brings those of us together on a site like CouchSurfing is the gene for compassion we're wired with. All in all I think its my story you may be interested in, and your story that will interest me and add to the broader perspective on life that will benefit us all.

I have a plan of telling a story that can change the world. Whether thats the world of those I come across or a grander audience in due time, I'm interested in learning more about myself as I learn more about others. It seems that we all have the opportunity to find the common pulse of humanity. I have a vision and a plan on how I can become the human being capable of bringing that dream to fruition, and this is my leap of faith. I do not have traditional travel funds but I believe that the reason for taking the leap of faith means enough and will always mean enough to find harmony in the journey after leaping, no matter how long it takes or where it takes me.

I can share a pretty broad, and what I continuously work at being, unbiased perspective. Would love to share experience, insight, opinions, full conversations. There seems to be very little that stands as fact in life so all we have is those that come across our paths and act subconsciously as mirrors and reflections of ourselves whether we fully realize at the moment or not, I believe everyone that you meet or attract into your world is a mirror to some aspect of you.

I can share compassion, understanding, a helping hand in any way we see fit, and more importantly vulnerability as a human being in a way that allows both me and the host to grow in some way. All we have in life are moments so I'm 100% invested in creating and riding the full wave of moments that we attract together,.

I guess what that sums up to in some way is love in whatever form it was meant to arrive in.
