Not the things are moving you but the views you have from them. Bring it to your mind and you will feel better.
Don't want to describe myself. But I am open-minded and interesting in a lot of things. For example I like literature and I like films not only watching at home but especially at the cinema.
And if you like sports I invite to run with me in the stadium or in the park which are in the neighbourhood. Running is my big passion. I already run a few marathons.
At the moment (Dec. 2016) I really like climbing (indoor) and badminton. In summer I prefer beach volleyball, table tennis, swimming, windsurfing (it's not possible in Berlin) and football. And sometimes chess for relaxing.
By the way since 2015 I have a new roommate - a little cute cat (it looks like Garfield).
Since a few months I am learning Spanish (I begun in Summer 2016) on my own.
I am dreaming about travelling to South America (Argentina, Chile, Peru ... Columbia).
My motto: Keep your pearls of wisdom to yourself!
Don't like wisdoms which you can find in every calender.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By now I only host someone. Of course I travel also but the most time my daughter is with me or we are travelling with friends so we usually need no host.
Every visiter is a new experience. So far my experiences were good!
I like moving so much!!! So no wonder that I like sports (running, swimming, table-tennis, football, badminton, climbing, beach volleyball), literature, film (Berlinale) and literature. I like reading contemporary books but I have no favourite writer.
- rock climbing
- table tennis
Music, Movies, and Books
In general I love low budget films more than blockbuster.
Music: Independent, alternative, rock, goa trance, techno festivals outside ...
Archive, Cat Power, The strokes, Kings of Leon, The Kills, Joseph Arthur, Russian music (Kino, Mumiy troll)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived one year in Irkutsk/Siberia, learned Russian and travelled through the country.
Russia - extremely large. But you have to find it out on your own. The long distances are a really challenge for each traveller. You need abundance of patience if you for example have to wait for three days for the next bus, train, ship or whatever which brings you to the next travel destination. But during you wait it happens something new and mostly interesting and unexpectedly.
And the winter in Siberia - very long and cold of course but dry air and sunny with blue sky every day and snow till the cow comes home.
Beautiful ... mostly!
Teach, Learn, Share
learning is a process - a neverending story!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can cook together! This is always a nice event.
By the way I prefer vegetarian food.
Countries I’ve Lived In
Azerbaijan, Latvia, Russian Federation
