ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Gerrit. Love to laugh, can be very organized (if I want to) and I guess I'm a dog person over a cat person. Maybe it's because dogs are so pretty damn faithful, silly and funny at the same time. I don't smoke, enjoy starting the day with a good breakfast, love poetry slams, dancing, chess (although I'm not a great talent in it), art and last but not least: I spend a lot of my time with music.

What more can I tell you? I was born in Frankfurt am Main, but after my school leaving examination I moved to Hamburg. Love this city! Right now I'm working as an advertising freelancer and study "Metropolitan Culture": The degree programme focuses on the broad context of city life. It's an interface between cultural studies' disciplines and artistic practices. So according to my study, I'm interested into diverse ways of living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was planning to travel through europe for a while, a friend of mine suggested I should sign up for CouchSurfing. First I wasn't sure about it, but to save money, I just tried. And what shall I say? I had made some really positive experience. I guess it's the best way to get to know different people and cultures.

Interessen

Love to play the piano, badminton, like to take my mum's dog for a walk, doing exercises every now and then, sitting in a bar, watching people, reading newspapers and drinking coffee – or some good vodka;) Also enjoy nice clubs and good partys.
