I'm an easygoing and open-minded guy who is about to collect his very first experiences in this great community! In september, i'm going to take the journey from Germany heading east till Beijing. This route is perfect to be travelled by train via Russia and Mongolia! So, i'm going to ride that 10,000 km monster! I hope to meet many nice people along this route, also thanks to my possible future hosts. After i will have arrived in Beijing, i am going to travel south east asia.

What led me to do this?
Well, passion for travel! Also, i've just finished my studies with a bachelors degree in psychology. Keep calm! This doesn't enable me to analyze you, at least at first sight ;) As i am still unsure about what to do with that degree, i have decided to go to see more of the world :)

I think being with locals in a place where you have never been before gives you unique impressions and experiences that you probably won't have when you are stuck in a hostel. It is worth so much to meet other people and catch a glimpse of how they live. I am thankful to everyone who participates in this way of traveling!

兴趣

I love to be outside, walk around and explore what happens right here and right now around me, rather than being stuck in a museum or something.
This brings me to one of the biggest parts of my life: mindfulness and meditation. I've been practicing it for nearly three years and it has changed my life dramatically. Actually, i am even thinking about using this as earning a living. However, this does not make me a 100% full-time guru-whatsoever. If you are interested in this topic, though, i will be more than happy to share some thoughts and exercises with you!

I also like scuba diving! It has been 5 years since i did my last dive, though. But i definitely want to start it again, as soon as i am in sout east asia!

Also, i simply enjoy quite evenings like cooking dinner, eating and sitting, and having a few drinks togehter.
And one of the stereotypes about Germans is true for me: i really like to drink beer! So, i also don't mind going out and try the best local beers on tap!
