About Me

I’m Gev, originally from a small community in northern Israel, now based in Tel Aviv.Though at the moment, I’m on the road.

I’m currently studying for my MBA remotely, and I’ve been traveling for the past few months while continuing my studies on the go. It’s a mix of adventure and discipline, chasing sunsets during the day, and lectures (or assignments…) by night.

My background is in mechanical and electrical systems — I’ve always enjoyed fixing things, understanding how they work, and solving practical problems. I bring that same mindset to travel: hands-on, open-minded, and curious.

The most memorable parts of my journey have come from people — whether it’s sharing fresh-caught fish on an island in Madagascar, sunrise kitesurfing in Sri Lanka followed by wild oyster foraging, or gathering travelers from around the world for a home-cooked dinner in Mauritius.

I’m social and independent, respectful and easygoing. Whether we spend an evening sharing stories or just cross paths briefly, I value authentic connection and leave space for whatever the moment brings

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because people are the best part of travel.
I’m here to meet locals and travelers with positive energy, to learn, share, and connect beyond the surface. Couchsurfing is more than a place to stay — it’s a window into real life, and I’m always grateful for that.
