About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Keeping the flame alive
ABOUT ME
A pretty much conventional person. I tend to be quite moody and therefore I don't have a constant behavioral pattern, but in general I'm described as inquisitive and open-minded.
PHILOSOPHY
"I'm not sure what we're running from. Nobody. Or the future. Fate. Growing up. Getting old. Picking up the pieces. As if running we won't have to get on with our lives."
/I'm trying to look smart with quotes, but the book and author are worth it./
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am allowed to host, but we are overloaded with uni work, so I MAY host during vacation period. Traveling is what I do mostly and I'm an avid surfer, but I look forward to the time, when I'll be a keen host, as well! (:
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Did couchsurfing in Edinburgh, Ireland, Shetland, Iceland.
A lot of people have surfed my couch back home, but none trough the proper couchsurfing website though.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: documentaries, war movies, history movies; I usually enjoy movies, which are based on real events and rarely watch fiction. (Apocalypse Now, Nichija zemlja, Beloe solntse pustyni, The Hurt Locker, Forest of the Gods, Memento, Se7en, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Star Wars (ep 4,5,6), Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, M, Rope, Psycho, The Birds, etc)
Books: I've read every book I've started until the very end and I usually pick them randomly. (Fight Club, Lullaby, Lord of the Rings, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Good Omens, The Carpet People, Roadside Picnic, Article of Faith, Santiago: a Myth of the Far Future, A Clockwork Orange, Animal Farm, etc)
Music: I usually listen to a limited range of songs all over again, no genre consistency. I also like all kinds of folk songs. (The Prodigy, Eisbrecher, Megaherz, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Celldweller, Cryptex, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Godsmack, Blue Stahli, Tanzwut, Tool, Oomph!, Powerman 5000, etc)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- started traveling by myself at the age of 13
- left Europe for the first time when 16; alone;(Japan)
- trying hard to find at least one amazing thing each day (that's what living is for)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love arguing with people and I almost always try to defend the opposite point of view, because I believe that I can find my own truth only in controversy.
Learning phrases in different languages is a hobby of mine. Also the grammar of a language often tells a lot about the native speakers and their culture/way of thinking.
