About Me

I'm a Scrum Master in Munich with a deep interest in personal growth, healthspan, and making the most out of life—whether that means trying out new sports, exploring new places and getting to know different people, or just enjoying a great conversation.

Nine Years ago, i spent a year as an exchange student in Taiwan, where I had some of my best experiences hitchhiking and Couchsurfing. Now, I still love getting to know people beyond what’s written in their profiles—whether that’s over a good meal, a game night, or a deep conversation about life.

You’ll often find me balancing between high-energy activities like bouldering, fitness, or hiking and quieter moments like meditation or a relaxed evening with friends. And if I’m traveling, there’s a good chance I’ll try to get a jumping picture somewhere—it’s a bit of a tradition at this point.

As a guest, I’d love to hang out and explore together, but I’m also perfectly happy doing my own thing if you're busy. I appreciate good conversations, thoughtful experiences, and the little things that make life interesting. And if there’s anything I can do for you in return or give back, I’d be happy to!

Philosophy:
Treat people with respect, curiosity, and kindness—pretty much how I’d want to be treated myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do enjoy company and getting to know people.
Hostels are fine and meeting a lot of other travelers also has its perks. However, I'd like to connect to people who have another view on the place they live in and hope to get a glimpse of how they see their homeplace.
With luck, I'm even learning a bit about the local culture and meeting a new friend who comes to visit me at my homeplace in Munich in Germany.

I believe Travelling is not about seeing as many places as possible, but about getting to know people with different opinions from different backgrounds. Learning from them is what will lead me to change my life and be a more understanding person.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Predestination

Music: Babalos - Emotional Break

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going snowboarding the first time for 3 years after breaking my leg and not being able to.

Experiencing the Friendliness of the people in Taiwan. It's going to be really hard to give equally as much back.

Getting up again and out of a bad phase in life when i was in a low point and the Resilience it gave me to never stop trying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the fun of playing Kendama (just the basics).
If you are interested in learning German I think might help out.
Being the real you and listening to yourself.
If you show me your city and we are lucky I can give you another view on it.
I also can share insight into how it is to live in a very loving open relationship.

I'd like to learn something from you but I guess that will undoubtedly happen, as we all are so different :).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Attentiveness and a listening mind.

Stories about some hitchhiking trips and the friendliness of people, a very open mind, Poorman's cooking, Only for people who want that: a massage with head holding which my mom taught me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Hungary, India, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
