Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted several travelers these past few years and I have been hosted by some cool people as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First experience was in Vancouver, Canada back in 2006. A couchsurfer invited us to a party to meet some local people. One of them asked me if I liked dogs. I ended up being paid to keep his dog in his appartment for 3 weeks, I got to drive his car, invite some friends for a nice dinner for Christmas at his place while he was honeymooning with his wife in Kenya.
Latest experience: in Lille, France. Jessica, who has an 18 month old little boy and is pregnant, hosted me and 8 friends at her place for 2 nights and gave us lots of good tips about her city.
