O mnie
I'm originally from Syria , but I live in Tanzania since four years with my dad who is doing business here. Two years before even my brother came to here and now we are staying together.
About me: Because I live here in Dar es Salaam my friends are people from Tanzania but also from foreign countries from all over the world. So I learned to deal with culture and language differentes and - most important - to be tolerant and open minded to everything new.
Furthermore I am not shy in talking to people. A lot of my good friends I made because I randomly talked to them at the beach and complimented their hairstyle for example (don't worry it's not that weird, it was a Rasta girl).
In my culture hospitality is an important thing so be sure if you stay at my place I will try my best that you feel comfortable!
Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing
I love travelling (even if its getting harder with a syrian passport) and see different places from the view of a local.
And couchsurfing is also a perfect place to meet interesting and new people.

Here in Dar I started to learn to play the violin but unfortunately without the help of a teacher. But even if my friends tell me frequently it sounds like a horror movie when I play I keep practicing!
I also like to read novels from a time to another and I like to listen to classical music. For completing this picture of a classical music guy I used to play chess during listening to this.

Muzyka, filmy i książki
For music I already talked about the classical music I like and for books I like to read sometimes but I am not stuck to a certain genre, I can read everything.
As I am a violin player I love to watch the Sherlock BBC serie but even the common movies (from Marvel movies to animation) are not bad!
Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)
Well it's not that amazing but a nice story to tell: When some thieves wanted to robb me and a friend with a gun in front of my house door I actually managed to steal the gun from them .... After this I was kinda amazed how I managed this without dying as I am not that brave, fearless kind of person and more a peac loving, not-tall, chess playing guy

I used to teach Arabic as it's my mother language.
Furthermore I am from Syria .... so if anyone is interested in anything about the country (there are even more interesting things than the war thing) I would love to share my stories and experiences.
Last year I started to learn the german language but unfortunately I couldn't continue to study at the Goethe Institue ... but as I live here in Tanzania I speak Swahili not that bad. So if you want to practice with me this language, karibu!
