ABOUT ME

I'm active, outgoing and friendly. Some people think I'm an a-hole on first impressions, but they eventually warm up to me (and get comfortable enough to tell me how much they hated me at first). But I love meeting people, especially travellers, as they add to my experience of life and fill my head with ideas that I'm a little too thick or scared to conjure up on my own.

I love great conversations, new experiences and deep connections. People's philosophies and lives fascinate me. I like to joke around and I am not politically correct when I do so. But I give it to myself more than I do to anyone else, and I appreciate when other peopel do so too :)

My outlook on life is that everything is an experience, so I'm always up for it. Even if 'it' is uncomfortable, dangerous or painful. I love having little whacky adventures - be it a spur-of-the-moment Muay Thai fight at Reggae Bar; taking 2 friends to a ping-pong show and pretending to be looking for a 4th partner for the night; or trekking without a guide in a jungle that had been closed due to torrential downpours. I have realized that patience, tolerance and an open mind will get you through a lot.

I have no home at the moment, no place to call my city. I'm travelling the world looking to expand my horizons. I'm open to getting swept away by a place, person or cause. I want to live a life less ordinary. And this se ction is getting too 'I, I, I', so I'm out :)

PHILOSOPHY

I'm over the rules. Like regrets, they don't work. So I'm living my life free of regret and rules.

Interesses

I have a diverse range of interests, they don't always seem congruent to me, let alone to others. My interests are travelling (of course), writing, rock climbing, Muay Thai, surfing, snowboarding, drinking, sleeping, meditation, snoo-snoo. There's probably more, but hey...

Anything that is captivating and introduces new or interesting ideas. So movies like Fight Club, Waking Life, Zeitgeist. Being a writer, I'm a fan of a good read but my tastes vary from The Quantum Brain to Shantaram to God-knows-what
