Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It’s a great way for the world to come to our home when we cannot travel it. As an addition I’m able to share my passion of showing to others places I find interesting.

Music, Movies, and Books

It changes quite often with age and new discoveries, within literature non-fiction being in focus most of the time. But there are few authors of fiction that earned their place on my bookshelfs, such as Markéta Pilátová, Hanif Kureshi, Mikhail Lermontov or Peter Sís.
Out of all films I’ve seen and that caught my attention I could perhaps mention those by Atom Egoyan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’m being repeatedly and continuously amazed and astonished by the view of High Tatras. There never seem to be enough of them. They are there, the same mountain massive all days long and still, they offer such a great variety of forms and shapes and colours… Sometimes you can see them fully, at other times they completely disappear in clouds… And sunsets? They are just majestically splendid.
