HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently move back to my hometown, Livorno and decided to settle here, finally making my own house!
I stopped using CS while living in Milan, since I couldn't host, but I'd be happy to restart using CS by hosting/meeting travellers in my home town!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting in Pisa in 2009 sharing dinners and stories with lot of travelers..and followed it with more enthusiasm in Valencia (2010-2011) where I realized how unexpectedly amazing is for a traveler to find a spontaneous homely atmosphere, that's what i tried to create when i'm hosting!
I also started to participate the Valencia CouchSurfing community, finding extraordinary generous people and really good friends! Moving back to Italy, Milan, I was kind of disappointed by the Milan CS community.. and I honestly believe that CS progressively lost its magic! Though I think it would be fun to keep an open window to the world from my hometown, Livorno..so let's see how it goes!

Intereses

I generally work during the week and I am free on saturday/sunday when I like to disconnect from technology and escape into the outdoor.. I live on the sea, so going to swim is an easy option for a long time of the year..but I also like a lot mountain sports like hiking, skiing, canyoning, climbing (beginner), speleology (beginner) etc.
I am lucky to already have had some amazing travelling experience, and i'd still like to explore.. but there's so much to see in Italy!! I am thinking about our impact on the planet (not very good prospective here) and I do think what I do and eat.

I like alternative music but I think each time requires its right music!
I read actuality, novels and travel books.. and of course movies and series!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I might be able to host you in my new house in the city center of Livorno.
Since this is not an alternative to an hostel, I would like to share some time with the guests..that could be just a beer or a dinner or even an excursion to the beach or mountains.
