Overview
About Me
I was born in Vancouver and grew up here as well. I have been lucky to have the opportunity to take a couple long trips to South East Asia, Australia and Europe. Now I feel like I need to explore my own backyard! I enjoy just getting away for the weekend and cherish moments when I can leave the busy life behind.
I am friendly and approachable person and I like to be active. I play lots of soccer, aussie rules football and run/bike. I like to make things with my hands too, my first thought is there must be a way to DIY! I also like to cook and experiment with food.
I am currently in school at UBC for the Physical Therapy program (it's pretty much my life right now).
I'll add more once I think of it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to the Couchsurfing world. I love to travel and meet new people (like mostly everyone on here) and think there is no better way to experience a new place than with someone who lives there!
Accomodation can be expensive too! I like the idea of like-minded individuals sharing their space and contributing to the travelling community!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music- alternative and rock such as: Weezer, Arctic Monkeys, Foo fighters, RHCP and Rage Against the Machine are probably my all-time favourites.
My fiance and I love going to music festivals too.
I really like EDM and IDM as well, hence I'm a big fan of streaming off HypeMachine, Songza, 8tracks. Too much music to keep track of!
Movies: Can't pick a favourite, way too many. But I like comedies, dramas, documentries.
Books: into biographies and autobiographies now, so many interesting and amazing people and stories. Honestly haven't been reading much for pleasure bc of school!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked Europe for 4 months by myself when I was 19. One of the best experiences I've ever had. I got to connect with family in Italy I had never met and learned valuable life lessons through the ups and downs of backpacking
Also finding a lifetime travel partner in my fiance :).
