ABOUT ME

How do i summarize my personality in a few words?

I like to think I'm pretty open minded when i meet new people. I enjoy learning about different people's outlooks on life, experiences and passions.

I'm not naturally equipped with the 'gift of the gab', so sometimes can come across as shy when in new company.

Can't tell jokes, but am prone to extreme levels of sarcasm. Most people laugh, most of the time. That's good enough for me. :)

PHILOSOPHY

This trip to America will be my longest time away from home, which at 28 is quite late in comparison to most of my friends. Since graduating in 2006 i have worked none stop, so i feel like i have earned this time away. My approach to life has changed in the last year or so. On your death bed, no one ever says they 'wish they'd have worked more'. That's a philosophy i would like to take away to America. Forget about the hustle and bustle of daily life, and enjoy meeting new people and future friends.

All of the above accounts for 20% of my time, the rest is spent working as an editor in television industry. Mostly music programming.

Most types of alternative guitar music, but mainly blues and psychedelic. I could talk your hind legs off about british folk of the 60's, and id gladly listen to you saying why you love beyonce :)
