About Me
CURRENT MISSION
haha!! success!!
ABOUT ME
I study meteorology because I love the clouds! If there's a storm, you'll find me out in it. I'm really interested in meeting new people, especially travelers.
I'm starting graduate research at the U of Utah in August, I'm going to improve cloud parameterization in climate models!
PHILOSOPHY
"Don't live by quotations" -Mark Twain
I really want there to be upbeat loving folk music playing in the background when I die. But I don't want that to happen for 90 years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being friendly to strangers every chance you get, to build trust and show the broken, the cheated, and the pessimists that there is good and trustworthiness in even the most distant stranger.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted Thomas and Christian from Munich, it was great! They came during my house's weekly poker night, and turned it into an epic International Poker Night! First experiences were had by many, an unforgettable night. Danke!
In France, Germany, and Austria, time and again I was helped and hosted by the kindest, most selfless people I have met. I cannot begin to thank you all.
Interests
Climatology, cloud watching, loving, growing (plants and myself), preparing, enjoying, bubbling, learning how many troubles are defeated by simple laughter

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy science fiction written by scientists, especially Arthur C. Clark, Carl Sagan. I like classical music, but also classic hip-hop. M.I.A., junior senior, any bebop or big band or swing with a quick beat and a drive to move us forward!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fallen in love!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to know what the height of a cloud base is, find out the difference between the surface air temperature and the dew point in Celsius, divide by 10, and you've got your answer in kilometers!
