About Me
Hello everyone! I’m Gibran. Although my career led me down the path of accounting, my true passion lies in cooking. Since I was a child, my grandmother taught me all the secrets of traditional Mexican cuisine, and ever since then, I’ve been in love with cooking. I dream of becoming a chef someday, but in the meantime, I enjoy sharing my love for food with those around me.
Despite not having previous experience hosting, I’m excited to open the doors of my home to travelers from around the world through Couchsurfing. My hosting style is relaxed and adventurous, always ready to explore and share new experiences.
My specialty is Mexican cuisine, so if you stay with me, get ready to enjoy authentic Mexican flavors that will make your mouth water. Although I don’t have experience organizing activities for my guests, I’m open to suggestions and I’m sure together we can discover interesting places in my city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Let me tell you about one of the most thrilling and daring experiences of my life! It was a Saturday afternoon, and my best friend and I were craving adventure. After scrolling through Instagram in search of something exciting, we stumbled upon a breathtaking photo of a wedding venue. Without a second thought, we embarked on a secret mission: to crash that wedding!
Armed with our best attire and a healthy dose of confidence, we infiltrated the ceremony as if we were honored guests. We mingled among the bridesmaids and, with spy-worthy skill, managed to blend in until we reached the bride. After a brief exchange of knowing glances, we joined the party!
We danced like there was no tomorrow, laughed until our stomachs hurt, and savored every bite of the wedding feast. We felt alive, defying the rules and creating memories that would last a lifetime. By the end of the night, we bid farewell to the newlyweds with a mischievous smile and hearts full of adventure.
It was a risky experience, but every moment was worth it. It showed us that life is full of surprises and that sometimes the best stories are written when you dare to go off-script. Undoubtedly, a night we’ll never forget and one that will always remind us of the thrill of living on the edge. ♥️🎉
