Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I’m into Afro-fusion, African rhythms, jazz, and world music. Artists like Sauti Sol, Oliver Mtukudzi, and Youssou N’Dour are always on my playlist, especially when I’m traveling.
Movies: I enjoy travel and adventure films and documentaries like, Out of Africa, plus National Geographic and BBC travel docs. Anything that captures real places and human stories gets my attention.
Books: I like travel and life-journey books such as The Alchemist, On the Road, and Into the Wild, along with reads about culture, tourism, and personal growth.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done is explore Kenya beyond the usual tourist trails by connecting with local communities. From guiding visitors through lesser-known cultural sites, sharing meals in village homes, and exchanging stories with people from different backgrounds, I’ve experienced my own country through fresh, local perspectives.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I love sharing my knowledge of Kenya’s hidden gems from the Taita Hills to Tsavo, local traditions, and tips for experiencing authentic village life.
Learn: I’m excited to learn about the daily lives, customs, and stories of people across Kenya and beyond, from the Coast to the Highlands.
Share: I enjoy sharing meals, travel stories, and moments with locals and travelers alike creating genuine connections that celebrate Kenya’s rich culture and landscapes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
