Movies: The Princess Bride, Monty Python, LOTR, Star Wars, V for Vendeta...
Books: Tolkien, CS Lewis, GRRM, Terry Brooks, Edgar Rice Burroughs. Basically lots of Sci-Fi/Fantasy. I'm reading Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land right now.
