I like the strangest variety of music. My favorite artists are: The Lumineers, George Ezra, Kanye West, La M.O.D.A., Natalia Lafourcade... I like pop music in Spanish and French and also Arabic music.
As for movies, I enjoy foreign language films because I need the language practice.
And my favorite author of all time is George Orwell. I also love Spanish-language poetry, such as Luis Cernuda and Pablo Neruda.

I spent 6 weeks in Amman, Jordan on a scholarship to learn Arabic the summer of 2017! I lived with a host family and ate delicious food and got a head start in learning Levantine Arabic.

I volunteer teaching English as a second language, and I am very interested in the second-language acquisition process, thus I'd love to help you converse in English! I'm fluent in Spanish, although I'm not a native. I also need to learn Egyptian Arabic. I learn FusHa in school, and study Arabic literature, but I'm be living in Cairo and want to make the most of it! I've also tried to teach myself French, though it's a little rusty.
