ABOUT ME
Hi I live in Brisbane, sometimes known as Brisvegas. I have travelled overseas and loved it. I am a passionate person and am committed to social justice principles, incorporating them in my life and work. Im open to new ideas, new culture and meeting new people from all over the world. I have worked as a Social Worker in the areas of youth at risk of homelessness, generalist counselling, mental health and the HIV/AIDS sector. I welcome overseas guests. I have a very comfortable mattress on the floor. I am 5kms to the train station that will take you into the city which takes 1 hour.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life and enjoy it, Life be in it!!
As the Women's Electoral Lobby slogan states
"It will be a great day when schools get all the money they need and the Airforce has to hold a cake stall to buy a bomber"

I love to watch drama movies or occassionally a kids (childrens) movie, Im a big kid at heart.
I like a wide variety of music and love to go to music festivals to see live bands from all over the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelled to Tasmania Australia, it was spectacular, especially travelling down the Franklin/Gordon river, now a world heritage site. Instigated and fundraised over $1000.00 to start two new softball teams in a small country town. Travelled by myself overseas and I have difficulty reading maps!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Can share knowledge on Aussie Culture and my own sense of spirituality. Love to learn about other peoples' life and culture.
From my life experience and work within the youth and HIV/AIDS sector. I also know a little about nutrition as I love to eat and enjoy shopping for food, cooking and sharing my meals with people. Also can teach you some Aussie slang words if you like.
