Since we are not leaving home to see the world, we're inviting the world to visit us!

ABOUT ME

We are 40-somethings with a 17-year-old (!) son and lots of pets (hope you don't mind). (By now we are almost 50 -- aargh. The son lives in a commune but is still often at home.) We love a traditional braai (barbecue), discovering new places, the movies, books. Gielie also loves the Grand Prix, his Mini, his motorbike (I hate it) and a good kuier. We have an amazing stoep (porch/patio) for those kuiers (socialising). I love my three yorkies, my bulldog, art-house movies, good puddings and the Karoo. Ben loves life, but hates school... (luckily school is now something of the past.)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first couchsurfers visited during the 2010 World Cup in SA. What a fantastic experience to see our adopted city through their eyes! We are thrilled to be a part of the couchsurfing community.
