About Me
Hello Couchsurfing community!
I have been a traveler for ten years now, and it blows my mind how quickly time has passed. Over the past decade, I’ve had the joy of meeting incredible people from all corners of the world. My journey began with a leap of faith and a tiny bit of savings, and somehow life carried me through one amazing adventure after another.
Today I’m a proud mama to a sweet one-year-old, as well as an entrepreneur, dancer, and full-time lover of life. I’m currently in Prague visiting my son’s family, and starting October 14th I’ll be taking a little solo adventure just for me.
It has been quite some time since I was last hosted through Couchsurfing, but my memories of those experiences are so warm that I’m seriously considering choosing it over Airbnb for this trip. I also love hosting myself and have been told I’m quite the hostess with the mostess 😄
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best trips, in my opinion, are the ones that offer the opportunity to meet new people and experience wonders that only the locals know and love. Hotels shelter us from savoring the true essence of travel and diminish the magic in adventure.
Preferably, I would like to crash in the homes of people who are looking to establish some level of friendship. In addition, I am on couch surf with the hopes that I will some day have the pleasure to host the friends that I meet along the way.
Interests
I enjoy all types of dancing, concerts, local events, food, hiking, swimming, singing, nature, photography, and learning whatever someone is willing to teach me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Above all, the genre of music that moves me is Bachata. I instruct this type of dance as well, and it is truly my greatest passion. Aside from that I love salsa, merengue, indie, flamenco, and anything that ignites that inner glow in my heart.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to San Francisco without knowing a single soul in that city. I was stuck in a place where I felt I could not express myself freely and I had a strong desire to rid myself from the situation. Somehow I made it in one of the most expensive cities in the world. I even got to live in the neighborhood of my dreams with the most incredible roommate ever. This was the first time life had revealed to me that the "how" reveals itself when you take the leap.
Teach, Learn, Share
Life’s twists and turns are the drumbeat of our story. The magic is in finding the rhythm and letting yourself dance through it all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love of dance through my teachings, advice, laughter, and friendship. I can cook a traditional Dominican dinner :D
