Hey ! My name is Gigi and I'm a fun loving, easy going girl who loves the outdoors and nature. I currently live in London and I am taking a year out to travel before I go to university to study music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I want to be a jazz singer-so of course I love all the greats like miles davis and ella fitzgerald, but my taste in music is very broad. I am a big bossa nova fan ( I really want to learn Portuguese) I also love disco and funk, as well as 90's hip hop and rnb like D'angelo and Lauren Hill. Aside from that I listen to a lot of classical music- Fauré and Schubert are some of my favourite composers.

I like quirky films like Amelie, anything by Wes Anderson as well as crime/detective films like the usual suspects

My favourite book is "bonjour tristesse " by Francoise Saigan, and I also liked "one flew over the cuckoos nest"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 14 I had the most amazing opportunity to travel to Namibia and trek around the desert for two weeks miles away from civilisation-it was the best!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook- and even though I'm not the most patient in the kitchen I really enjoy sharing recipies and ideas from other cultures. I play bits of piano and guitar and teach music theory so could always exchange my knowledge for something you have! I have lots of sewing experience ( I used to teach it) and I really enjoy doing arts and crafts. Aside from that, I do a lot of wild camping-so if you like the outdoors I can show you how to camp without any equipment !
